이러한 새로이 일어나는 일들에 대해 걱정하실 필요가 없습니다. 만약에 국제적인 은행이 당행의 주식을 인수한다고 해도 이는 궁극적으로 은행을 성장시키기 위한 것이며 당행은 국제적인 위상을 갖추게 될 것입니다.
저는 오늘 여러분에게 지금까지 우리가 해 왔듯이 같은 열정과 헌신으로 본업에 충실하는 것이 중요하다는 점을 강조하고 싶습니다. 주주의 변화는 일어날 수도 있고 일어나지 않을 수도 있습니다. 그러나 우리 제일은행의 성공적인 성장과 서비스의 품질은 계속되어야 합니다. 이것이 우리의 자랑이며 여러분들의 보다 더 나은 미래를 지켜줄 수 있을 것입니다.



불리한 금리기조에도 불구하고 수익성면에서 지난 분기는 연중 최고의 실적을 기록했습니다. 2004년 세전이익은 작년보다 2배 증가 할 것으로 보입니다. 2005년 계획을 작성 중에 있으며 12월10일 개최할 부점장회의에서 발표를 할 것입니다. 그리고 12월 17일 이사회에서 승인을 받기 위해 발표 할 것입니다.

오늘 이 방송을 통해 여러분에게 기쁜 소식 하나를 전하고자 합니다.

지난 수요일 한국능률협회에서 제일은행이 고객만족경영대상을 수상했습니다. 그리고 당행이 은행으로서는 유일한 수상자였습니다. 한국능률협회는 한국업체를 객관적인 평가하는 기관으로서 그 공신력을 자랑합니다.
이 고객만족 경영대상은 당행의 선도적 위치를 보여주는 것이며 이 상의 평가기준은 전행을 평가하는 것으로, 다음과 같이 상당히 광범위한 분야가 그 평가 대상으로서 포함됩니다.



-전략과 경영

-기업 실적
-서비스품질과 고객 만족

-프로세스 관리

-인력개발과 사회적 책임



이는 당행이 상당한 인정을 받고 있다는 결과이며 우리의 성과에 대해 자부심을 느껴야 할 것입니다. 그리고 이러한 내용을 또한 적극 홍보할 것입니다.

NB has informed us that they are in preliminary discussions with potential buyers and asked us to allow the start of due diligence this week,



You should not be worried about this new event, if an international bank buys KFBs shares, it will be with the objective to grow the bank. and it will give to our bank an international stature.



But today, I want to stress on the importance for everyone to continue to work with the same drive and dedication.

Do not be distracted! This change of shareholder can happen or not but Cheil Ounheng successful growth and quality of service should continue.

It is our pride and our best guarantee for the future.



The last quarter will be in term of profitability the best of the year, in spite of very unfavorable interest rate level, we will show for 2004 a

profit before tax twice larger than last year. We are working at the 2005 Plan and I will show a preview of it at the manager meeting on December

10th and it will be presented for approbation at the BOD meeting on December 17th.



I would like to use this occasion to speak to you about a great event: last Wednesday, KMA delivered its annual awards: KFB received the grand prize

and we were the only bank awarded!

Korea Management Association is the most well known objective observer of Korean business.

This grand prize is showing the leading position of our bank, the whole bank, the criteria of evaluation are extensive and include,



- Strategy and management,

- Corporate performance,

- Quality of service and customer satisfaction,

- Process management,

- Human resources and social responsibility



It is a great recognition.

We could be proud of our work . and we will publicize it!
