[Korea Financial Times, Park seulgi] Global travel tech company Yanolja is accelerating its push to transform the travel industry through artificial intelligence under its newly unveiled "Yanolja 3.0" vision, marking 100 days since its leadership overhaul. The company is executing a strategic shift from platform operator to global travel technology enterprise.

According to industry sources on the 11th, Yanolja completed a leadership restructuring last December, reorganizing its operations to deepen expertise across business divisions. The company appointed Choi Chanseok as CEO of the Corporate Strategy and Management division, Lee Junyoung as CEO of the Enterprise Solutions division, and Lee Cheolwoong as CEO of the Consumer Platform division, establishing an accountability-based management structure for each business segment.

The personnel changes reflect a strategic decision to reinforce customer-value-oriented thinking and technological innovation as the company enters the AI transformation era. The reorganization is designed to sharpen leadership within each division, elevate expertise, and enhance the company's agility in responding to a rapidly evolving global market.

Industry observers note that in the roughly 100 days since the leadership restructuring, Yanolja has articulated a more defined technology-driven growth strategy and global expansion roadmap. Analysts say the company is giving concrete shape to its blueprint for leading the digital transformation of the travel industry — moving beyond its existing platform business and leveraging data and AI technologies to do so.

New Growth Vision: 'Yanolja 3.0'

Yanolja has introduced "Yanolja 3.0" as its new growth vision for this year, a strategy designed to drive change across the travel industry in the AI era as the company marks its 21st anniversary.

Founded in 2005, Yanolja has spent the past two decades leading the digital transformation of the travel and leisure industry through technology. Having progressed through "Yanolja 1.0" — focused on survival and building a foundation in its early years — and "Yanolja 2.0," which achieved platform growth through the mobile transition, the company is now embarking on a new leap forward at a moment when AI technology is reshaping industry structures.

"Yanolja 3.0" is a vision that maps out a global growth strategy grounded in customer-centric values and technological competitiveness. It is anchored by three core values — genuine commitment to customers, technology-driven leadership, and One Team — with a clear directional goal of transforming the travel experience through technology.

In particular, the company has set its sights on revolutionizing the user experience across the entire travel journey — from trip planning and booking to on-site experiences — by leveraging AI. The plan calls for expanding personalized services and automated operational solutions powered by travel data to improve efficiency across the travel industry as a whole.

Yanolja's mission of making travel and leisure easier and more meaningful through technology is also being broadened to align with the AI era and the global environment. The company has expressed its commitment to establishing itself as a global technology enterprise that delivers new travel experiences through data and technology, transcending its role as a mere booking platform.

Strengthening Global Competitiveness Through 'NOL'

As the travel industry rapidly realigns around data and AI, Yanolja is simultaneously scaling its Consumer Platform and Enterprise Solutions businesses to reinforce its global competitiveness.

On the consumer platform side, the company offers a wide range of services — including accommodations, flights, leisure, and live performances — through NOL, its travel, leisure, and culture platform. It also operates NOL World, an inbound platform that connects overseas users with Korean travel and cultural content, catering to growing global tourism demand.
On the enterprise solutions side, Yanolja provides operational and data solutions to global travel businesses, supporting the digital transformation of the travel industry.

The company has also been actively ramping up efforts to align strategy and strengthen execution across its global organization this year. Through a series of global town halls and conferences, Yanolja has been focused on fostering inter-organizational collaboration and refining its future growth strategy.

The "2026 Yanolja Global Sales Conference," held in Prague, Czech Republic, in January, drew 300 employees including Lee Junyoung, CEO of Yanolja's Enterprise Solutions division, and Kim Hyunjung, Yanolja's Global Chief Business Officer. In February, Lee Junyoung attended the "2026 Global Town Hall" held in Surat, India, where he shared the company's business roadmap and strategic direction.

Industry watchers believe that as the travel sector undergoes rapid AI-driven restructuring, how quickly Yanolja can scale its technology-based global business model will be the defining factor in its future competitiveness.

"AI is reshaping industry standards far more powerfully and rapidly than the mobile transition did," a Yanolja spokesperson said. "Yanolja's goal is to use technological innovation to make the travel experiences people dream of ten times easier and more convenient than they are today."
